The Mogo Basketball Wheelchairs

Michaels passion for sport, saw him enter onto the basketball court, this game became his obsession, his drive to progress in this sport, lead to improvements to his wheelchairs, his day chair, soon started to resemble something out of a mad max movie, changing wheel sizes and weld tacking on sides and fender bars, soon followed by rear pivot wheels…… showing up at games in his chair, soon drew attention and eventually this saw him going before the International Sporting Committee, to fight for the justification of these changes, proving it was for the embetterment of the game and this was being proven again and again by the amount of chairs turning up with this new design…… now in today’s sporting arena, there are many variations and imitations of this original design, to be seen all over the world.

Standard features

    1. The maximum height offensive chair
    2. The low pointer defensive chair
  • Made from heat treated 6061 T6 aircraft Aluminium
  • Anti tips / rear pivot wheels, come in single or double
  • Fender shape - pointed ‘offensive’ OR flat ‘defensive'
  • Camber degrees - from 13 to 20
  • Seat width and length - no maximum or minimum measurement applies
  • Back upholstery is depth adjustable, with leather corner patches for added durability
  • Seat upholstery, black 420D parapack with Velcro for cushion attachment
  • Rear wheels, 24’ to 27”, double walled rim, stainless steel spoking, hard anodised hand ring and pump up tyres
  • Front wheels and pivot wheels, from 3”
  • All bearings are sealed
  • Colours, 2 std on each chair, chosen from our extensive range

Option and Upgrades

You can choose to enhance your chair from our list of accessories, for example - Upgrade to titanium spokes and hand rims or spynergy wheels, add sides, cushions, ratchet or adjustable lap straps, etc... the list is long.

For a few more dollars, you can go to the deluxe Mogo basketball wheelchair, which covers everything required to get you on the court and keep you there.
